While so many are focused on business growth, marketing hacks, visibility, and scale, there's a blind spot that's leaking energy across the field for coaches, and not enough people are talking about it.
Many have walked through the fire of emotional healing, rewired limiting beliefs, and developed incredible tools for guiding others. Yet, when it comes to their physical body, avoidance is normalized. Consistent focus on health and vitality is often neglected. Skipped workouts. Poor nutrition. Caffeine and bio-hacking surpass the body's needs.
And if we, as coaches, allow our own bodies to pay the price of our work, eventually this beautiful industry of light workers and healers will collapse into itself.
This isn't "bro-science" or some message to "get fit or lose it all." This is a cry for those who have done the deep work to heal old traumas, change communication patterns, create generational shifts, and command universal change to consider a deeper question.
I share this because I lived it.
While building my first businesses in the hospitality space, I drove revenue toward eight figures—while quietly driving my health into the ground. Eventually, it caught up to me. Slipped discs. Compacted nerves. A locked pelvis. Ninety days on the floor, unable to walk, taking business calls from the ground.
That season was a wake-up call. Not just about pain, but about priorities.
Instead of accepting the future that this unique pain suggested, I made a different choice: to rebuild from the inside out.
Seven months later, I ran 22 miles across Glacier National Park. I had never been a runner before. Yet through that process, I discovered what so many coaches miss: when you use the body as the teacher, it rewrites what you believe is possible everywhere else.
Here's the part that still shocks me: I spent 13 years ignoring my body's signals—its cries for help. For over a decade, it begged me to slow down, to heal. But I kept pushing, kept focusing on growth, kept chasing.
And yet, in just seven months, I went from not being able to walk… to running across mountains.
Thirteen years of neglect corrected in seven months.
is right.
Endurance experiences are more than physical feats. They're full-spectrum teachers. They force you into integration—mind, body, heart, and spirit.
Through endurance you learn:
Nature doesn't allow shortcuts. The mountain doesn't bend to excuses. The trail doesn't care about your résumé. Endurance strips you down and rebuilds you into wholeness.
This isn't about perfection. It's about sharpening. Daily care. Consistent testing. Stretching what you thought possible. Listening to the body, not just the mind.
This isn't judgment. It's a call to remember your true power—the part of you that can't be measured by metrics, followers, or revenue.
Your health isn't a side project. It's the foundation of your leadership. The sharper your vessel, the more present, magnetic, and powerful you become—not just in the room, but in every area of life.
A neglected car doesn't just sputter—it tells a story about how it's been treated. So does your body.
And if you're here to impact lives, discover more of yourself, and maybe even change the world, then perhaps it's time to treat yourself like the high-powered, miraculous machine you are. You're not a standard issue—you're a special edition supercar. And you require a specific level of care if you want to shock the world with your raw power, precision, and elegance.
Stop transforming others while leaving yourself behind. Stop teaching alignment while ignoring the very vessel that carries your mission.
When you find your physical edge, you don't just get stronger—you integrate. You become whole. And from that wholeness, you create a deeper impact than any business strategy ever could.
This is the secret ingredient the industry washes over. And without it, our missions risk burning out before they're complete.
Let your body's true power teach you. Lean into discovering its hidden capabilities.
